Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-09-20
This policy explains what CWAS collects, why, who can see it and the choices you have.
1. What we collect
Account details (name, phone, email, language), household details (village, address, household size, access needs), wallet and booking records, notifications, assistant chats and the files you upload, and technical logs (time, channel and IP address, kept for security).
2. Why we use it
To run bookings and payments, to prioritise fairly, to send confirmations by app and SMS, to keep the service secure, and to produce anonymous usage and equity reports for the community water committee.
3. Who can see it
Coordinators see the households they serve. Administrators see accounts and the audit trail. Telecom and mobile-money providers process the messages and payments sent through them.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Automated suggestions
CWAS suggests priorities, approvals and warnings using simple rules applied to household data. A coordinator makes the final decision, and every point of a score has a stated reason.
5. Security
Passwords and PINs are stored only as one-way hashes. Sessions use secure cookies, important actions go into a tamper-evident audit trail, and access depends on role. No system is perfectly secure, so tell us at once if you suspect misuse.
6. How long we keep data
Account and household details are kept while your account is active. Booking, wallet and audit records are kept for accounting and security after you leave; your name and contact details are removed from your account. Chats and uploaded files are deleted when you delete them or your account.
7. Your choices and rights
You can see and correct your details in your profile, download a copy of your data, delete your chats and delete your account. For anything else, ask your coordinator or write to info@winebald.tech.
8. Cookies and device storage
We use essential cookies for sign-in, language and theme, and your browser stores your sound and voice choices. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
9. Household needs
The needs you tick at registration, such as an older person or a disability in the home, and your distance to water are used only to set priority and subsidies. A coordinator checks them before any discount applies, and you can change them in your profile at any time.
10. Pilot news
If you follow the pilot, we keep only your email address and language. We use them only to announce milestones, never share them, and delete them as soon as you use the leave link.
11. Children
CWAS is for adults in a household. Do not register children as account holders.
12. Changes and contact
Important changes are announced in the app. Contact info@winebald.tech with any question about your data.
This is a working document for the pilot. Ask your coordinator if anything is unclear.
